    Great service, great food and a cute inside. My wife and I shared a personal size deep dish balls deep and spicy Italian pizza. Excellent! Great music however it could turned down a bit so patrons can talk to each other. I'm annoyed at the 3% credit card fee ... what does it cost for the restaurant to use Grubhub or DoorDash? Don't penalize your in dining customers. Credit card fees are a part of doing business and should be added to the price not separately.

    Came here on a Sunday during the bike weekend event where they closed Melrose Ave Shopping District so families and bike riders can enjoy biking through the street without cars around. It was definitely a busy day to come by here. The kids were a little hungry and wanted something small before dinner. We ended up here because I wanted a beer! I just wanted something refreshing and for some reason I just craved beer lol. My husband ordered the meatball appetizer and added pasta to the order. It was a good size order for the 4 of us! It was so delicious and savory. The meatballs packed so much flavor with herbs and spices- it was just enough for us. We really wanted to order the deep dish pizza here as we were looking at what the other customers were ordering. It looked so good. I'm sad we didn't get to try it, but we will be back next time. It was a fun and cute little restaurant with loud music and great vibes! Customer service was great too!

    PLEASE BRING BACK THE MELROSE PIZZA WE MISS IT SM!!!!! We love blackbird and live in the neighborhood. There was NOTHING better than the combination of crispy broccoli, goat cheese and roasted garlic Pictures attached

    Soooo sad to see them close shop. The golden brown buttery cornmeal crust with the cheesy savory balls deep sauce will be missed
